Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Blacksburg, VA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Verify previous operation and own work completed per engineering drawings, planning, and other work instructions (Operational Method Sheet, Visual Work Instructions, Manufacturing Instructions, PS Workmanship Standards).
  • Complete basic operations using all necessary manufacturing documentation.
  • Correctly store, clean, and maintain tools, equipment, and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.
  • Complete the paperwork necessary for each part accurately & legibly.
  • Perform minor rework per Standard Rework Procedures, QHT Instructions, or rework router.
  • Assist in training/cross-training of others.
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $16.28/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).

Length: Temp (6 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in using QHT Workflow.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in using Winterm/Connect to access documents and check revisions.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in using standard inspection tools.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in reviewing paperwork and blueprints.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Able to pay attention to details and work with small parts.
  • Able to use basic computer equipment.
  • Able to work under a microscope for most of your day.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
