Job Summary

As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding AlticeUSA's non-technical program/ project selection. Your primary focus will be on prioritizing projects to ensure alignment with the company's strategic imperatives andoutsized customer benefit. You will spearhead the identification, tracking, and realization of project benefits, ensuring thateach project contributes effectively to the company's financial objectives, operational success and enhances customer value.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive portfolio/program/project management best practices and standards that will improve productivity, investment decision making and realize targeted business outcomes.
  • Prepare for and conduct product reviews with cross-functional leadership.
  • Develop, implement, and govern program management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.
  • Facilitate the stage gate process for all programs and projects in the portfolio.
  • Strategic Project Portfolio Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive project portfolio management strategy that aligns with the company's long-term corporate objectives and vision.
  • Project Intake and Prioritization: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the executive leadership team, product owners, and department heads, to intake, assess, and prioritize projects based on their potential impact on corporate objectives and customer benefit.
  • Benefit Realization Framework: Establish and oversee a robust benefit tracking and realization framework to assess project success in delivering the intended benefits, both financial and non-financial.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance and effectiveness of projects, ensuring they remain in line with strategic objectives and customer-centric outcomes.
  • Resource Allocation: Work closely with department leaders to allocate resources efficiently across projects to maximize return on investment and customer satisfaction.
  • Center of Excellence: Contribute to the Altice SPO Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Project Portfolio Management function, refining processes and methodologies to enhance project delivery and benefit realization.
  • Communication and Reporting: Regularly create and disseminate reports/dashboards on project portfolio status, benefit realization progress, and other relevant insights to executive leadership, enabling informed decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their active involvement in the project selection process and managing their expectations regarding project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Technology, Finance or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma certification strong plus
  • Minimum seven years of related software development, engineering, and IT environments experience. Telecommunication industry experience is preferred
  • Minimum seven years in progressive transformation, technology enablement, or innovation
  • Minimum five years in technical project management with a focus on software development, engineering or IT.
  • Experience with financial analysis, business planning, budget management; experience working with Procurement is highly preferred
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to seamlessly manage shifting priorities and drive prioritization while operating efficiently in a high-demand environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and other project management frameworks. Experience with Jira and broader Atlassian suite or products
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex programs and projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience driving change through cross-functional teams including: Technology and Engineering teams, Finance, Procurement, Business Planning, Human Resources.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00-$168,912.00/year.
