Job Summary

As the Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding AlticeUSA's program/ project selection. Your primary focus will be on prioritizing projects to ensure alignment with the company's strategic imperatives and outsized customer benefit. You will spearhead the identification, tracking, and realization of project benefits, ensuring that each project contributes effectively to the company's financial objectives, operational success and enhances customer value.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project portfolio management strategy that aligns with the company's long-term corporate objectives and vision.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Proactively drive risk mitigation and contingency planning, along with issue resolution Communicate status, updates, and program summaries via presentations, email, and direct communication with key stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Maintain consistent project documentation and adhere to defined standards.
  • Understands most project domain components, including architecture, tools and deployment practices that development team is employing
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure successful project completion.
  • Lead the development of project proposals, project charters, risk analysis and project schedules, and ensure actual results are tracked against the stated cost-benefit and ROI projections.
  • Create workflows based on internal client/team feedback.
  • Perform appropriate scope analysis and lessons learned.
  • Creates and delivers information at the appropriate level for the audience, including presentations and status updates.
  • Independently manage activities and resolve conflict within associated teams, with minimal influence from management
  • Oversee project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of available resources and timely procurement when required.
  • Manage ambiguity and define scale-out options that are well understood and executed across the team and partners
  • Drive successful project outcomes by contributing to definition of research goals, success metrics and prioritization of deliverables
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancing project management methodologies and practices.
  • Present program and technical information in presentations to varied audiences, including executive management, Engineering, IT, Operations, Sales, Customer Experience and Legal teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum Master) are a plus.
  • Minimum ten years technical project or program management with a focus on software development, engineering or IT.
  • Minimum seven years experience leading all aspects of large complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and other project management frameworks. Experience with Jira.
  • Experience with financial analysis, business planning, budget management; experience working with Procurement is highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Ability and experience in preparing comprehensive budgets, project schedules, planning and managing project revenue and expenses.
  • Adaptable and proactive problem solver, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
  • Possess a strong foundation in software development, engineering, and IT environments with the ability to understand and contribute to technical discussions, providing valuable insights to the development team.
  • Demonstrated ability to be lead strategic projects with large multi-discipline teams by developing strategy and leading team through project completion.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00-$168,912.00/year.
