Shift: Monday- Friday 7:30a-3:30p Area: Wet Packaging/Advanced Dressings What Machine Operation contributes to Cardinal Health
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all machines are calibrated correctly and make appropriate adjustments
- Resolve issues by performing advanced troubleshooting
- Directs production planning and scheduling
- Orders materials needed in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair complicated machinery
- Load material and ensure proper alignment into machinery
- Load and unload trailers and racks using stand-up forklift
- Works with other departments and team members to resolve issues on production floor.
- Keep a clean work environment
- Have flexibility to float to other areas as needed and learn multiple lines
- Have flexibility to work overtime and work off shifts as needed
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience, preferred
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

- Has latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelines
- Provides guidance to less experienced team members
- May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise
