Position Title: Entry-Level Maintenance Technician
Wage: $20-$23/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4:30pm Mondays-Thursdays QPS Employment Group is hiring for an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician at a company in Elkhorn, WI. Entry-Level Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, etc. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facilities - Maintain related records, including repair and upgrades - Coordinate all outside bids, quotes, and contracts for repair, installation, and purchases - Order and maintain spare parts inventories for equipment and facility - Establish preventative maintenance and repair schedule for production equipment and facilities - Inspect, repair, and maintain facilities, lighting, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, air compressors, office equipment, and forklifts to ensure optimal operations and safety - Perform limited shop floor layout changes or modifications and facilities building projects - Perform snow removal, lawn care, and general housekeeping as required - Comply with and enforce OSHA, safety, and environmental rules and regulations - Train, instruct, and guide other personnel in the use and maintenance of equipment as required - When available, perform material handling functions - When available, assist on the production line Entry-Level Maintenance Technician Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or trade experience - Good oral and written communication skills, be computer literate, and have a strong math background - Must be knowledgeable and have electrical experience with 480 volt systems - Must be able to Weld, Stick, and MIG QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
