The Position
Summer 2025 - Genentech Community College Internship Program - Public Affairs & Access Department Summary We are now accepting applications for the Summer 2025 Genentech Community College Internship Program. This post is for roles within the Public Affairs & Access department. Public Affairs & Access is a multi-disciplinary organization that includes Channel & Contract Management; Corporate Communications; External Affairs; Policy, Evidence, & Access Strategy; and Strategic Business Operations. Our mission is to drive positive change in the healthcare system so that every patient can access our science. We lead the development of meaningful partnerships, forward-looking pricing, contracting and distribution strategies, and proactive policy solutions that advance a more equitable and hopeful future for all of those who need our therapies. There are separate posts for other roles. Our program is designed to foster diversity in our talent pipeline and to expose students from underrepresented groups to STEM career paths. The goal of the program is to train entry-level candidates with skills that will enable them pursue a career in the biopharma industry. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The Opportunity As an intern, you will perform various tasks under the guidance and mentorship of your manager. You will be expected to attend meetings, read independently on relevant topics, follow a training schedule set by your manager, and perform tasks independently as appropriate. You will also be expected to summarize the purpose of your work and any findings, and you will present future recommendations in the form of an oral and poster presentation. Program Highlights

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $23.00-$33.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
