As the Aftermarket/Parcels Supervisor (APS), you will coordinate with Order Entry, National Accounts, Customer Care, Purchasing, Planning, and Scheduling teams to ensure accurate and timely parts shipments to customers. This on-site role will manage a team of two and oversee order accuracy, delivery timeliness, and quality standards, while driving process improvements and maintaining a high-performance culture.

You Will:

  • Document and standardize the customer parts fulfillment process.

  • Lead and empower your team through continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring safety compliance and operational excellence.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to procedures and maintain safe, functional equipment.

  • Foster a positive team culture through regular meetings, clear task assignments, and effective communication.

  • Facilitate tier meetings and promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.

  • Implement cross-training initiatives and create a skills matrix to support team development.

  • Provide ongoing performance feedback, including conducting quarterly and annual reviews.

  • Develop visual aids and training materials to train associates.

  • Design and execute a barcoding/scanner project within 12-24 months to enhance efficiency.

  • Apply foundational Lean tools, such as WPS, 5-S, and quality control, to maintain a visually controlled and improvement-oriented workspace.

  • Establish a culture of collaboration through regular tier and problem-solving meetings, coordinating support both within and outside the team.

  • Engage employees to address challenges, develop solutions, and instill a mindset of continuous improvement, fostering the growth of a learning organization.

You Have:

  • A minimum of a two-year associate degree.

  • 3+ years of experience in parts logistics, with demonstrated process improvement achievements and increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Experience managing the parts fulfillment process, from receiving to shipping, while ensuring quality and on-time delivery in coordination with various stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in IT and MRP systems for effective inventory management, ensuring accurate parts availability, efficient ordering, and clear communication of delivery timelines.

  • The ability to establish and maintain an inventory of aftermarket parts for efficient shipping of repeat SKUs.

  • Experience in developing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis to measure and improve departmental success.

  • Familiarity with post-order communications to support aftermarket customer needs.

  • Proven experience leading small teams, with the ability to assess, develop, and motivate both individual and team capabilities.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and components relevant to the department.

  • Foundational leadership skills, including listening, problem-solving, planning, scheduling, and training, with a willingness to further develop supervisory and facilitation skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
