Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Receiving Clerk to join us at our diverse team in Louisville. The Receiving Clerk will inspect inbound materials and record essential data for traceability. They will be responsible for physically and systematically receiving parts that arrive at our facility

Job Responsibilities

  • Will use various mechanical and electronic measuring tools to measure incoming material's critical characteristics / safety-critical characteristics.
  • Manages material flow through the Supplier Quality Inspection area so that excellent and non-conforming material is clearly identified, and material moves quickly in and out of the site.
  • Understands and interprets part specifications. Understands and performs Standard Inspection Plans.
  • Escalating issues and quality trends to department leadership
  • Create part labels prior to arrival of components.
  • Use ERP to systematically receive parts into the factory.
  • May perform other Quality duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous receiving experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to use powered industrial equipment and tools typically used in the inspection process such as calipers, tape measure, etc.
  • Basic PC skills are needed.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Ability to work under tight time deadlines with frequently changing priorities.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors, customers, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations (Add, Subtract, Multiply, and Divide)
  • Ability to use standard and unique problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
