You are currently pursuing a BS (as a rising Junior or Senior), MS, or PhD in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

As a Ceramics Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:



  • Process Engineering work to support a manufacturing area that operates 24/7.
  • Primary work is to support product manufacturing by developing and maintaining documentation used by operators and used to certify product.
  • Position is within a support team that actively collaborates with operators and other support organizations with Fuel Manufacturing.

This opportunity is in Richland, Washington

Richland is located in the Columbia River basin in southeastern Washington a few hours east of Seattle. After work, the Richland, Kennewick, Pasco Tri-cities area offers a variety of water sports and fabulous fishing. A short drive puts you in the beautiful Cascade Mountains. With very little rainfall annually, you can enjoy the outdoors year-round. Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $26.00 - $34.13 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
