Summary/Objective

Team member is required to prepare the main rails for the jig. They are also required to follow the safety regulations. As well as being required to perform the job to the Lippert quality standards.

Essential Functions

  1. Marking the rails for holes, slide outs, axels, beaver tails, etc.
  2. Blowing the holes in the main rails.
  3. Welding axel hangers on.
  4. Cutting and welding the beaver tail.
  5. Welding any splice plates that are needed.
  6. Transferring the rails to a storage rack.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.

Travel

Travel will be minimal to none and would be primarily local during the business day.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Manufacturing/industry experience.
  2. Welding education or experience preferred

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
