YOUR OPPORTUNITY The FSQA Supervisor position is responsible for the shift supervision of all food safety and quality assurance policies / programs, USDA compliance and product quality initiatives for a pork processing facility harvesting over 20,500 animals per day. The position supervises using strategic initiatives and execution excellence to provide compliance with all quality specifications, USDA/FDA regulations and International Regulatory laws having jurisdiction over Seaboard Foods facilities. The supervisor assists with the implementation of program strategies to achieve exemplary food safety, quality standards and customer satisfaction. The position has direct management responsibilities over the Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs. ABOUT US At Seaboard Foods, we create the most sought-after pork. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds and sometimes push/and or move up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to hot, cold and/or humid conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and is frequently exposed to animal waste and animal dust.
