Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our customer in Fremont, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform Hand TIG Welding on Stainless Steel and Aluminum vacuum fittings.
  • Perform mechanical set-ups and changeovers for all welding operations.
  • Demonstrate ability to process and Inspect 1st pc in accordance to prints.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Measure and verify dimensions using inspection Tools
  • Complete routing and process planning as necessary
  • Collaborate with Engineering to develop advanced welding processes.
  • Ability to perform a sequence of operations, consistently maintaining the performance level set for quality and quantity.
  • Proficiently use all approved hand gauges to inspect component quality at the work center.
  • Work as a team member to aid others in upholding and maintaining departmental standards including quality goals and on-time delivery goals.

Duration: Temp to Hire
Shift: Shift: Mon-Fri, 6am - 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $28 - $36/hour DOE
The base salary range for this full-time position is $28 - $36 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years vacuum purge welding experience.
  • Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent- or currently enrolled in such a program.
  • Knowledge of various welding machines including hand welding, tig and orbital welding machines used on stainless steel and other high purity materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings in inch and metric units and BOMs.
  • Strong understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts.
  • Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic PC skills for manufacturing.
  • Experience working in high-purity clean room environment.
  • Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred.
  • Understanding of UHP industry to successfully perform duties.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to quality, customer focused mindset both internally and externally.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Focus on safety in all daily operations.
