Description
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a well-qualified postdoctoral researcher with expertise in control systems design and analysis, electrical engineering, power systems engineering or comparable disciplines for the Infrastructure Security Department. You will report to the program manager. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. This post doc position may involve advanced cyber-physical modeling and algorithm development, large area power systems modeling and controller design, advanced conductor testing (thermal-mechanical, electrical, and controls), and dynamic modeling of power system technologies. You are expected to be a strong asset to our interdisciplinary R&D team and work both alone and as a team member. The position entails writing scientific manuscripts for journal publication, and presentation of research results at national and international conferences and meetings. Qualifications
