Description

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for the proper handling and completion of all activity relating to daily adjustment items submitted from branches, other financial institutions and the Fed.

How you will make an impact:



  • Travel for training as needed
  • Liaison between team and manager
  • Receive and work daily adjustment requests
  • Work adjustment cases in an accurate and timely manner, following federal laws and requirements.
  • Maintain Fed account to receive and send adjustment items
  • Work with the Image Processing department to resolve problems with duplicate electronic items.
  • Communicate and resolve issues with the Recon Department to clear outstanding debits and credits
  • Log and track adjustment cases in the OnBase and Vector systems
  • Submit proper paperwork to management for "charge off" items that are not collectable
  • Assist Cadence Bank branches and corresponding banks with adjustments on their customer's accounts.
  • Work with Treasury Management Department to resolve problems with Express Deposit customers
  • Verify the Vector Adjustment Suspense Account balances each day


Who you are:



  • High school education, or equivalent
  • Perform job functions accurately, completely and in a timely manner
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Close attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills - including but not limited to working with & utilizing Microsoft programs, PDF and Google.
  • Detailed oriented and able to follow set guidelines.
  • Must be a self starter and excel at time management.
  • Willingness to work in a fast paced environment while providing accurate information.
  • Working knowledge of accounting basics.
  • Fosters a positive team environment
