Job Summary This is an entry level maintenance position. You will learn through a combination of guided instruction, written procedures and manuals, and challenging trial and error. Our goal is to keep ourselves and other employees safe while keeping the Remington facility running. Needed tools and equipment to complete the work will be provided. We maintain multiple mature processes with a strong focus on reliability and continuous improvement. Must follow standards for tool cleanliness Must follow PPE standards Must follow attendance policy Must be, within 3 months of hire, willing to perform on-call or after-hours duty based on a preset schedule Must learn GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and be able to identify and have a self-driven desire to solve problems Must know or be able to learn how to safely shut down any process, ie gas valves, circuit breakers, air lines, mechanical locks Must be able to lift 50 lbs, reach areas only accessible by ladders, and be able to work safely from heights Equipment that will be worked with include, but are not limited to Industrial electrical control equipment Large industrial fans Pumps Blowers Boilers Steam and Condensate Water treatment Air handlers Process chillers Cooling tower Air compressors Air dryers Burners High pressure pumps Sifters Grinders Pneumatics Plumbing We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
