Material Handler: 2 openings on 3rd shift (in Packaging) 3rd shift-Must be able to train on 1st shift for a couple of weeks. Starting Rate: $17 -$18/hr. + $3 Shift Premium (Based on skills and experience) Shift: 3rd shift (8:30 PM - 5:00 AM) The Material Handler is responsible for operating a forklift in our Packaging dept. Solid work history in a manufacturing/warehouse environment ~2-3 years is preferred. Forklift experience is required. Experienced Forklift Drivers that have worked in a high paced environment with routine on/off the forklift needed. We are specifically looking for candidates that provided line support or work center support (not exclusively a warehouse worker or shipping and receiving forklift operator). Requirements: Qualifications: Must read and write English. Good communication, organization, problem-solving, and basic math skills. Must successfully pass Strength Test. Must possess, demonstrate and follow all instructions, procedures and guidelines. Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 55 lbs. Long periods of walking or standing required. Must be able to pass Strength Test. Working Conditions: Exposure to hazards of an industrial environment including noise, dust, hazardous materials, machinery, including platforms and ladders, and equipment. | |
