Position Title: Priming Technician
Wage: $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:45pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Seed Sizing Associate position available at a company in Waverly, NE. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Priming Technician Responsibilities: - Use of heavy equipment/machinery including but not limited to fork trucks, pallet jacks, mixers augers, overhead cranes, etc. - Calculate, monitor, evaluate, and adjust seed moisture content accordingly - Use of gram, lb., and kg scales to obtain weights - Accurately calculate seed and media to suit a given work order - Calculate chemical additives and accurately meter for prime solutions - Accurately monitor and record temperature of seed in prime and room temperature and making adjustments based of your findings - Accurately monitor and record normal/abnormal findings while handling seeds in prime - Accurately fill out logs on a daily basis - Ability to follow written/oral directions effectively - Adhere to workplace policies and procedures - Adhere to workplace, state and federally regulated safety standards Priming Technician Requirements: - Able to lift > than 50 pounds on a regular basis - Strong math background - Strong communication skills - Ability to work independently and in team settings - HS diploma/GED equivalence lincoln@qpsemployment.com IND119 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
