Chief of Fiscal Records

Under general direction, plans, organizes, oversees, coordinates, and manages the staff responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budget, financial reporting, and other accounting and finance programs; manages the effective use of resources to improve organizational productivity and customer service in the department; provides complex and responsible support to the Chief Financial Officer in areas of expertise; and performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, business or public administration, or a closely related field and eight (8) years of increasingly responsible professional accounting experience, including two (2) years of supervisory or program management experience.

Requires possession of a valid California Driver’s License, a satisfactory driving record, and a properly registered and insured vehicle, to be maintained throughout employment.
