Maintenance Technician

Position Details:

Hourly pay rate: $30.15 an hour

Normal Schedule is Monday - Friday 7AM - 3PM

A Day in the Life:

Responsible for the maintenance, repairs and upkeep of plant operational equipment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Participate and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Regular use of hand tools, power tools, measurement devices including calipers, welders, pipe fitting equipment, cutting torch, etc
  • Lifting and rigging using cables & slings
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, centrifugal, rotary, and positive displacement pumps
  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plan for and take corrective action; make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
  • Working knowledge of Laser Alignment, Ultrasonic and Lubrication
  • Replace gearboxes, drive couplings, chain drives, and belt drives.
  • Timely completion of tasks and work orders with appropriate documentation according to standard operating procedures, applicable standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Requires strong work ethic, dependability, and a high level of dedication to safety.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Read and understand written maintenance instructions.
  • Handwritten data recording.
  • Must be willing to work a rotating on call schedule.
  • Must be willing to train for advancement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years or more of major industrial maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications for welding, electrical training, or industrial maintenance training.
  • Blueprint and electrical schematic reading ability a plus.
