Job Description: Amherst College invites applications for the Assistant Director of Advancement Analytics position. The Assistant Director of Advancement Analytics is a full-time, year-round position, starting at $65,000 per year - commensurate with experience. Given Amherst's distinction as one of the most diverse liberal arts colleges in the country, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ways in which they bring value to and will work towards supporting a broadly diverse community. The Assistant Director of Advancement Analytics plays a pivotal role in supporting the fundraising and engagement efforts of the Advancement division. This role involves managing data, conducting data analysis, identifying trends, and generating visualizations to provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and planning. As part of the Strategy and Analysis team, this position will manage data projects, collaborate across the division, and communicate findings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a contextual understanding of fundraising principles in a higher education or non-profit setting. This position reports to the Senior Director of Strategy and Analysis and works across all departments within the division. This role will work collaboratively with the Annual Fund, Alumni and Constituent Relations, and Communications to provide critical data insights in support of operational and strategic goals. In addition, this position will be a key liaison to the Advancement Operations team on issues pertaining to data management and data processes. Summary of Responsibilities: Data Analysis
