Overview Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist Full Time, FTE 0.8 2nd Shift; 2:15pm-10:45pm Location: Muscatine, IA The Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist I is responsible for various specimen collection and processing procedures. The Phlebotomist I will be responsible for strictly adhering to detail in the performance of technical and laboratory procedures to meet necessary requirements of voluntary and government agencies. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy course, Medical Assistant, Associate of Arts, preferred. Experience: Experience with phlebotomy, preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Communication skills including reading, writing & speaking fluent english, Adaptability, customer/patient focused, Interpersonal skills and Self-development. Lifting Requirements: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
