Job Description	ECU Office of Innovation and Engagement is seeking several undergraduate students to assist with data and analytics projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, research methodologies, and innovation strategies while contributing to projects that enhance university engagement and impact. Key Responsibilities: Learn key objectives associated with advancing the research, engagement, and innovation enterprise of the university. Collaborate with team members to gather, analyze, and interpret data relevant to university initiatives. Assist in the development of data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively. Support the collection of data through surveys, interviews, and other research methods. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for innovative projects. Conduct findings to support project objectives. Maintain organized documentation of data and project progress.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)	Prefer students majoring in Data Science, Analytics, Business, or a STEM related field. Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python, or Tableau) is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks. Interest in using data and artificial intelligence tools to inform decision making.
