The School of Environment and Sustainability at University of Cincinnati is hiring a full-timepostdoctoralfellow to contribute to a project quantifying methane emissions and sources in Cincinnati, Ohio.This project is funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Job Overview
We seek candidates with a Ph.D. and expertise in stable isotope analysis, methane emissions, or urban greenhouse gas emissions. Applicants will be evaluated on commitment and contributions to diversity, as well as their appreciation for the University's culture of inclusion and equity. This position is renewable after one year depending on performance, for a total of up to three years. Essential Functions
* Under the direct supervision of the PI, conduct research on methane sources in the Cincinnati region using both top-down and bottom-up measurement techniques. * Measure methane concentrations, emissions, and stable isotope composition. * Publish research in peer-reviewed scientific journals and present research at scientific conferences. * Work collaboratively with a team of other researchers, including the principal investigator and students, as well as community stakeholders. Doctoral Degree in the appropriate field or discipline, or the recognized terminal degree Required Experience
