Primary Purpose of Job

Serves as subject matter expert in implementing the Bank's Records Retention process and strategy. Provides problem resolution in support of department initiatives.

Major Job Accountabilities

  • Understands the records retention strategy and how to transform physical documents to digital records.
  • Prepares, maintains, and monitors accurate filing and retention of documents by the given SLA's.
  • Understands and follows document retention policies and destruction schedules to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Promotes awareness, understanding and adoption of the records strategy through collaboration with business units across the organization.
  • Analyzes and reviews existing processes and procedures to drive process improvement.
  • Collaborates with teammates by responding to requests promptly, asking thoughtful questions and providing constructive feedback.
  • Uses knowledge and proficiency in team processes to support teammate development, problem resolution and department initiatives.
  • Assesses training needs and supports development plans for teammates.
  • Assesses system and regulatory changes and analyzes impact to operational processes.
  • Serves as a positive role model for teammates and exhibits leadership traits within the department.
  • Performs work at the assigned work location.

Experience Required

  • Minimum three (3) years of records management and document imaging experience or business operations.

Required Skills or Training

  • Advanced understanding of enterprise content management (ECM) systems.
  • Experienced with physical document organization, filing and archiving.
  • Must be able to keep sensitive customer and Bank data confidential and secure.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be a team player: staying on task and on time, being proactive and professional.
  • Excellent organization skills to effectively manage multiple priorities through prioritization.
  • Able to work independently in a fast paced and high-volume production work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Possesses excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills. Able to use data to answer business questions and communicate through reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
