Associate Occupancy Planner

The Associate Occupancy Planner will support our team in successfully managing a variety of client projects and assignments. You will gather and evaluate business information, occupancy, and real estate data, manage move request activity, and provide support for presentations and real estate reporting for our clients.
You will be part of a diverse and integrated team that delivers a modern workplace, including space and occupancy planning and move management.

Responsibilities:
Pull plans from space data management systems, understanding the components of developing space solutions, space analysis, and utilization data.

Provide key data points for presentations and outline the pros & cons between options.

Work with FMs and PMs on projects related to moves, space audits, occupancy, vacancy, and change management.

Proactively identify needs, and troubleshoot deficiencies to address concerns using best practices

Understand the basics of space planning and allocation

Collaborate with project and construction teams on large facility projects.

Coordinate large, multi-phase restacks, and relocation restacks.

Ensure accurate reporting of information (using IWMS tools)

Foster critical relationships between various individuals and organizations such as Department managers and/or administrative assistants to collect seating assignments.

Work with Move coordination and facility management teams to review and approve moves, develop migration plans, and conduct facility audits.

Contribute strategic planning ideas with other members of the occupancy planning team to provide innovative solutions to complex occupancy challenges and resolve campus/building-specific needs, concerns, and issues.

Education / Yrs of Experience
1-2 years of work experience within facilities, space planning, occupancy management, or CAD/CAFM-related roles

Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate, or a related field

Previous experience in space/occupancy planning at a tactical level, plus experience with interior office renovations is highly desirable

AutoCAD and CAFM system experience is also highly desirable.

Tableau experience desired

Strong PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
