Discover your exciting role

The Senior Architect is responsible for working with multiple
stakeholders and guide the architectural team during the
design/construction process. Senior Architect will have three
main customers: the Client, Discipline Design Leads, and Exyte
Management team. Will interface daily primarily with internal
stakeholders, including but not limited to: Project Management
Team, Architects, Design Leads, QA/QC Manger, and the
Architectural Discipline Lead.


Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Trains and develops Architectural Designers in all
    processes/procedures/standards.
  • Coordinates, guides, and oversees the team to achieve the
    correct technical solutions to difficult design and client
    problems.
  • Executing projects utilizing Autodesk Building System
    Software
  • Reviews architectural drawings for completeness,
    constructability, and coordination
  • Collaborates with design and technical teams while
    supporting or leading the development of design deliverables
    from studies to Construction Documents, including drawings and
    specifications.
  • Maintains primary accountabilities for all architectural
    designs, sharing design responsibility.
  • Mentors Interns and junior members of project teams.
  • Participates in the development of office standards and
    procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Show your expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
  • Architectural License (AIA) required
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Master's in Architecture preferred
  • LEED AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred
  • Nation Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB)
    Certificate recommended
  • Previous experience with large projects helpful, but not
    necessary
  • Experience with SketchUp/Formit is desirable
  • Experience with Design-Build a plus
  • Experience managing teams utilizing Autodesk Building
    Systems Software Experience with Design-Build a plus
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and be a proactive problem
    solver
  • Understands Standard Installation Details, client BIM
    standards, industry drafting and design standards
  • Adept at interfacing with and aligning multiple
    stakeholders with diplomacy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
