The Department of Marketing, Sports Business & Event Management, and Construction Management in the Haile College of Business at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a non tenure-track, full-time position to serve in the role of Director of the Sales Program, equivalent to Assistant Teaching Professor, to begin January 1, 2025.

Primary Responsibilities
Expectations for the successful candidate include: a commitment to teaching excellence in a variety of sales courses both in face-to-face and online format; preferred demonstrated specialization in sales techniques, sales management, key accounts or sales analytics. The position also includes responsibilities that encompass leadership of the sales program in collaboration with sales faculty members, including launch of a Sales Hub, obtaining administrative support, fundraising activities, budget management, interaction with the sales advisory board, participation in Employment/Career Fairs, organizing speakers/presentations, coordinating sales events, involvement in professional organizations, sponsorship of student organizations, and recruitment of both students and potential staff. Other expectations of a successful candidate include applied sales and management experience in industry, engagement in higher education and the community, and a commitment and sensitivity to fostering a working and learning environment which is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will hold a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) or higher degree from an AACSB-accredited program at the time of appointment. Proven experience in sales management is required.
