Benefit Eligible Registered Nurse Medical Imaging The primary role of the Medical Imaging (MI) Registered Nurse (RN) is to perform patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through the supervision of select delegated nursing, acts and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members within the Medical Imaging Department, including patients in Diagnostic, Fluoroscopy, Molecular Medicine, Ultrasound, Angiography, Bronchoscopy, Cardiovascular Lab, Interventional, CT services, and other departments within the hospital.

- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- One or more years of critical care experience
- Conscious sedation experience
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin
- Current CPR certification or be eligible to complete within three months of hire
- Current ACLS certification or be eligible within three months of hire
- Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
- Advanced arrhythmia and hemodynamic skills
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Effective problem identification and resolution skills
Preferred:
- A minimum of two years patient care experience within the Medical Imaging Department or procedural department
- EPIC, Sensis, or other hemodynamic or x-ray systems
- Complex endovascular devices and procedures
- Clean, sterile, and aseptic technique
- Administration of conscious sedation under the direction of a provider
