RN Clinic - CCBHC IL Full-Time; FTE 1.0 Moline, IL Day Shift
- This position is Monday - Friday. Daily hours are flexible (typically between 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM up to 40 hours/week)
The Registered Nurse (Clinic) is supervised by the Manager, Outpatient Nursing Services Psychiatry and provides care to clients utilizing the Robert Young Center principles of Trauma Informed Care. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides mental health assessment, intervention, and consultation to individuals identified as having psychiatric disorders; plans treatment modalities, coordinates treatment plans and follow clients through the treatment process. Responsibilities
* Assures that all clients receive clinically sound triage/referral and ongoing care for behavioral health needs. * Collects information and communicates medication refill requests and client problems to the prescriber. * Requests consultation that includes providers, social workers and therapists for clients when necessary. * Uses the nursing process to deliver high quality care appropriate to the age and educational level of the client.

Education: |
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. |
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. |
Experience: |

Two years' mental health experience. |
License(s)/Certification(s): |
* RN licensure in the state of Illinois and Iowa. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training within 6 months of hire. |

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: |
* Knowledge of nursing care required for patients throughout the age continuum. * Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to a wide range of client situations using the nursing process. * Able to accurately collect and assess information, understand ethical standards of behavioral healthcare, and utilize teaching/learning theories. * Demonstrated excellent communication skills (orally and in writing) and presents self in a professional manner. * Able to establish effective consultative relationship with health care providers, outside agencies, co-workers, and the community. * Able to work sensitively with clients. * Able to handle multiple priorities, maintain composure under stress, and adapt to a fast paced changing environment. * Proficiency in the use of computer programs including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) applications |
