Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of a material change for Capital Markets Deal Central projects Facilitate Agile methodology and activities, manages, leads the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the multiple project teams Responsible for the end-to-end integration of various work streams to deliver the intended project solution Manage Project Scope Lead the daily SCRUM ceremonies of the Agile project teams and partners with the product owner to lead the teams Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO) Removes impediments to the ability of the team to deliver and is keenly focused on the activities and progress of the Agile project team Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments Provide visibility into the Agile team's delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders Enable the team to become high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement including cross-skilling across the team Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities Integrate with project, technology and business partners to manage the projects and be proactive in gathering status updates from partners, while minimizing impact Requirements: 7+ years of technical or BA experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and delivery projects 5+ years' experience working in an Agile Environment Advanced working knowledge of the Atlassian products and tools, including JIRA, JQL, and Wiki Able to lead and influence team in adopting the Agile principles Able to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team solve problems Self-motivated, self-directed, organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines Good understanding on financial/banking processes, domain Excellent interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building Good knowledge of software development, testing practices, architecture, design and infrastructure Demonstrated ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in highly unstable situations Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
