Application Window Open date: November 5, 2024 Most recent review date: Wednesday, Nov 20, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Junior/Assistant/Associate Specialist We are seeking a highly motivated Junior/Assistant/Associate Specialist to join our team focused on investigating sleep and cardiovascular risk factors for Alzheimer's Disease and Alzheimer's Disease-Related Dementias (AD/ADRD). This position will involve managing, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of research data, including data from longitudinal population-based studies, clinical polysomnography, and electronic health records. Experience with multi-cohort data analyses, data harmonization, and machine learning is not required but is highly desirable. The analyst will collaborate closely with the rest of our research team, helping to prepare presentations and manuscripts focused on the link between sleep, other modifiable risk factors, and risk of AD/ADRD. Specific responsibilities include: performing statistical analyses on population-based and clinical data, including data from polysomnography and electronic health records; using appropriate techniques to clean and manage datasets; preparing reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to interpret and communicate data and results; assisting with interpretation of research findings; and contributing to the preparation of manuscripts, presentations, posters, and other materials.
