Salary range: The salary range for this position is $68,247 - $83,936 annual (Salary Point 1 to Salary Point 8). The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Application Window Open date: November 4, 2024 Next review date: Tuesday, Dec 3, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Saturday, Dec 14, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in The Samueli School of Engineering at UC Irvine has a need for a part-time lecturer to teach Chemical Engineering Design over 2 quarters (Winter and Spring quarters). During each quarter, the lecturer will be responsible for delivering instruction comprised of a combination of lecture material and the design simulation laboratory. The selected candidate will have at minimum a BS in Chemical Engineering, industrial design experience and/or demonstrated teaching excellence in Chemical Engineering Design. Prior experience in university teaching, online instruction, and registration as a Professional Engineer are strongly preferred. * Winter Quarter begins January 2, 2025 and ends March 21, 2025.
