Schedule: Days, Monday - Friday

Are you an experienced Cytotechnologist looking to step into a supervisory role? Our Cytopathology Lab is seeking a dedicated Lab Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure quality standards, and support an efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Supervision: Oversee cytotechnologists and cytoprep technicians, manage workflow, perform competency assessments, and assist in training and hiring.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and maintain quality control standards.
• Cytology Expertise: Conduct thorough evaluations of cytologic samples such as Pap tests, bronchoscopic specimens, and fluid samples, aiding in patient diagnosis and care.
• Technical Support: Oversee lab instrumentation troubleshooting and stay updated on technical developments.
• Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between the Cytopathology Lab, the Pathology department, and other hospital departments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Baccalaureate degree and certification from an accredited cytotechnology program.
• Certification: ASCP Board of Registry certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the field, ideally with supervisory experience.
