Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch, CO to

  • Support critical applications and ensure the stability of the applications by performing proactive maintenance activities, engaging in automation activities, and conducting root cause analysis and remediation.
  • Write and maintain scripts to monitor system activity, including application smoke test activities during production implementations.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools to handle all engineering and application support tasks.
  • Engage in production issue troubleshooting bridge calls, provide immediate service restoration, follow up on root cause analysis, and ensure permanent fix is implemented to avoid similar problems in the future.
  • Coordinate and execute application releases and production deployments.
  • Position reports to the Highlands Ranch, CO office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
  • Position requires experience in the following :
  • Java, J2EE and/or .NET Core/.Net applications;
  • Relational database usage with commercial-grade databases;
  • Developing applications using Eclipse or similar IDE;
  • NoSQL DB and MSSQL DB;
  • Object-oriented design and design patterns;
  • Windows and Linux environments; and
  • Shell or Bash scripting, or PowerShell fluency.
  • Experience can be gained through academic coursework and/or work experience.
Additional Information

Worksite: Highlands Ranch, CO

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $117,021.00 USD to $149,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
