As a member of the Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) development group at VISA, you will be an integral part of a multi-functional development team inventing, designing, building, and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. Essential Functions:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD Proficiency in Java and React JS. Proficient in implementing design patterns, with hands-on knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, RDBMS technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), and NoSQL technologies like MongoDB. Experience with Redis Cache, Tomcat, jQuery + Kendo, and NodeJS. Familiarity with web service standards and related patterns (REST, JSON). Experience with Agile development incorporating TDD, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery, using technologies like GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, JUnit, and Mock frameworks. Experience developing large-scale, enterprise-class distributed systems requiring high availability, low latency, and strong data consistency. Experience implementing solutions for low-latency, distributed services using open standard technologies. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with effective written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely. A team player with a strong work ethic. Hands-on experience in AI, particularly Generative AI. Energy and Experience: A growth mindset that is curious and passionate about technologies and enjoys challenging projects on a global scale. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200.00 to 207,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
