Job Description

As a Transaction Coordination Manager, you'll lead our closing processes, managing a team to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant transactions. This role requires a proactive leader skilled in organization and cross-functional collaboration to streamline operations and optimize workflows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Transaction Coordinators, setting goals and providing constructive feedback

  • Guide Transaction Coordinators on managing escrow files accurately and resolving closing issues efficiently

  • Review purchase and sale agreements for accuracy and compliance with policies and standards

  • Maintain detailed transaction records in technology platforms and systems

  • Ensure marketable title on homes by managing curative actions before contract execution

  • Manage team staffing, including interviewing, hiring, and training new members

  • Oversee the entire closing process, coordinating schedules to prevent conflicts

  • Conduct document compliance checks, ensuring regulatory standards and resolving discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate closed transaction records and prepare reports for stakeholders

  • Continuously improve closing processes and develop training programs to enhance team performance

Qualifications:

  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership experience with strategic oversight and team management.

  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of housing market dynamics, property valuation, and operations.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to generate innovative ideas and add value.

  • Industry Relationships: Existing relationships are helpful; ability to manage transaction pipelines.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, motivated by team and company success.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel to satellite offices or markets as needed.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with high-impact decision-making capabilities

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA or BS in business administration, finance, management, real estate, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of relevant real estate experience in acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, or related roles, with a strong track record in managing third-party relationships and a deep understanding of the real estate closing process.
