Job Description

The Americas Sales Controller will oversee and evaluate the region's financial performance. This role demands a strategic business partner capable of influencing key decisions and fostering profitable growth. The ideal candidate should possess a robust finance background and a comprehensive understanding of sales operations.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.



  • Business Partner to the North America and Latin America region sales leaders.
  • Collaborate with the sales leaders to identify and prioritize sales strategies and strategies that will drive profitable growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, including Revenue, Order booking, Profitability, Fixed Expense, Inventory management and Cash collection.
  • Develop and implement financial controls to ensure that sales plans materialized, and budgets are managed effectively.
  • Drive the yearly and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, highlighting areas of opportunity and risk.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales management, finance, and business development teams.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and changes in the industry and incorporate this knowledge into sales strategy and planning.
  • Present financial performance results and KPIs to regional and global management.

Background & Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a sales controller or similar role, with a strong background in finance and commercial mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights; and challenge the organization on improvements and opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and provide direct and indirect leadership, as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of sales operations and financial control processes.
