Rad Tech - Seasonal Float Pool (SSRS)

This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour varied shift and requires flexibility in scheduling throughout the week, including weekends and holidays. This position is benefit eligible, floating to all five Scripps hospitals (Mercy Chula Vista, Mercy San Diego, Memorial La Jolla, Green - Torrey Pines, Memorial Encinitas)

Our Scripps System-wide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports the entire Scripps Health system. As a member of the Seasonal team, you can fill vital roles on a contract basis (13 or 26 weeks) to provide critical coverage for peak seasonal demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments.

Join our System-Wide Radiology Float Pool as a Radiology Technologist at Scripps Health. This is a fast-paced team that handles a mix of both in-patient and out-patient imaging and procedures and will give you the opportunity to experience everything general radiology has to offer. The ideal candidate is passionate about their work and will gain experience in OR, Fluoroscopy, and GI.

The type of opportunity available:

SYSTEM WIDE SEASONAL TEAM - Full Time, Limited tenure Scripps employee who supports assignments of 13 or 26 weeks.

A $7,000 completion bonus is available at the end of the initial 13-week assignment.

Hourly rate $49.46/hour

Seeking full-time limited tenure staff on varied shifts.

Required Certification/ Specialized Skills:

• CRT
• FLUORO Eligible (Must obtain FLUORO within 6 months of hire date)
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology
• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience

Preferred Licensure /Experience:

• ARRT
