Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is seeking a Program Control Coordinator who will provide on-site project management/administrative support and coordination for the Cyber, Communications, and Nuclear Programs (CCN2) portfolio. Duties may include contract accounting and reporting, financial performance analysis, contract funding and expenditure analysis and reporting, contract billing review, and budget variance analysis. The ideal candidate for this position can work independently and solve complex problems.

This position supports Odyssey's field office in Lincoln, MA.



Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

    Responsible for providing support to Odyssey's Cyber, Communications, and Nuclear Programs (CCN2) portfolio leadership in the preparation and analysis of project financial and scheduling data and other contract or project business-related tasks
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations
  • Employ financial control procedures and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements. This may include ensuring funding is available and recommending adjustments to budgetary plans and forecasts to ensure execution within the contract budget.
  • Monitor the progress of program requirements, including cost performance, to ensure contractual cost obligations are met. This effort includes the preparation and submission of required Contract Deliverables (CDRLs)
  • Respond to requests for information and questions with timely, accurate, and up-to-date information.
  • Perform both routine and non-routine analyses to assess financial performance and budget variance.
  • Participate in "Pod Meetings" to ensure coordination with Odyssey Finance and Contracting department POCs
  • Manage Subcontractor funding, execution trends, and invoicing
  • Tracking estimate at completion and travel for individual contracts


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Education: BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business

Years experience: 2-5 years' experience in similar financial planning and analysis, business management, and personnel management role

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Years experience: 2-5 years experience managing financial analysis and business management for Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Fixed Fee Level of Effort, Firm Fixed Price, and Time & Materials contracts

Technical Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ability to connect external data, consolidate data, and utilize highly complex formulas. Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ability to connect external data, consolidate data, ability to utilize highly complex formulas is preferred
  • Accounting and/or Financial Audit experience
  • Department of Defense Acquisition experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with DELTEK Costpoint and Cognos reporting is preferred

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong ability to communicate across all levels of the organization with both internal and external customers
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize workloads to support the needs of a dynamic and geographically dispersed team.

Travel: 5%
