Unit Paid Faculty teach additional courses on an as needed basis
The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applicants for a non-tenure-track position as a Lecturer in Commerce to co-deliver a 3.0-credit course in Spring, 2025 within the Information Technology and Innovation Area. No research responsibilities are associated with this position. Applicants must have a master's degree in a relevant field and relevant teaching and/or work experience. A Ph.D.and prior teaching experience is preferred.This is a part-time, at-will faculty wage position that does not carry benefits. Candidates are sought for delivery of 1.5 teaching credits in the co-taught course Inventing the Future (COMM 4251). This course covers technology's role in business and society with topics including technology business models, Silicon Valley and global industry culture, and public policy. QUALIFICATIONS
