Department: Warehouse

Reports To: DC General Manager

Salary Range: $70,821- $106,232 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and equipment in a manner that ensures employee safety, efficient operations, and minimal interruptions and downtime.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Responsible for the establishment, oversight, measurements, tracking, and planning for safety, quality, repair and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Provides repair service and general maintenance as needed and required.
  • Provides budget requirements and expenditures in accordance with planned and existing volume and staffing.
  • Assists HazMat team in developing and implementing the Process Safety Management for the facility. Also works with the facility management to develop and implement emergency shutdown and evacuation procedures.
  • Maintains working partnerships with vendors and contractors to the facility.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position.


YOU MUST HAVE



  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree.
  • Physical ability to access all areas of the facilities.
  • Knowledge of hot work, confined space, and fall prevention.
  • Ability to independently make decisions and resolve complex problems.
  • Continual emergency response training.
  • Training, ability and physician approval to use SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • Excellent working knowledge of 120V, 480V 3-phase.
  • Five years of ammonia refrigeration experience or RETA certified operator.
  • Computer skills in Excel, Word, AS400, and Maintscape.
  • 3 years of Material Handling maintenance experience.


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Supervision - Material Handling Maintenance, Refrigeration, Sanitation, and Building Maintenance personnel.
  • Travel - Approx. 4-5 times per year to company meetings, trainings, and planning events. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
