Have you sold trade show space or advertising before? Want to sell something even better!? Would you like to sell business-to-business events that turn your clients into fans? Would you enjoy being the source for highly-targeted, super-effective marketing events that your customers look forward to? Sell What People Want: New Customers Who Are Ready to Buy Our hosted-buyer format events are everything a trade show isn't. We're hyper-focused on bringing buyers and sellers together in our niche markets. Your clients are happy, because they're always in front of exactly who they want to meet. No one waits anxiously in a booth, hoping for results. Our events use custom matchmaking and scheduled appointments to bring eager buyers together with just the right sellers, in a setting that's both productive and relaxed. Everyone goes home happy! Our markets include public safety, security, construction, facilities, fleet, and more. Does this sound like you? -You have 2+ years experience selling exhibit space, advertising, or sponsorships for a for-profit trade show or event organizer (Reed, Informa, Questex, Emerald, IIR, IQPC, WBI, or a national association), or a hosted-buyer organizer like ConnectingPoint, Influence, or another matchmaking event producer. -You're Smart, Motivated, Curious, and Ethical -You understand how businesses connect you and enjoy making that happen. If so, we'd like to hear from you! How you'll make an impact: Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Are You a Hunter? You should be able to make a case to your prospect about why they belong in your event. Hug Your Customers! We service all our customers like royalty. Personal attention, genuine interest in their success, and knowledge of their business as well as ours are just a few of the reasons that clients rave about, and return to, our events. Our approach to business is to not merely satisfy clients but to "wow" them. You'll need to be able to identify the clients you can serve well, because we'd rather you walk away from a client you can't deliver for. Your clients should want to stay with us, and with you, for a long, long time. Are You Curious About Other People's Businesses? You'll need a 360-degree understanding of business, with a keen awareness of what's going on around you. You should enjoy learning about business trends and how other businesses run, and you should be intrigued by new technology, new industries and how our world is changing, because our events are where new ideas get "sneezed" about. Responsibilities We'll start you with leads and contact info, but you should also be able to find prospects through research, news items, and other methods. You'll be presenting our product by phone, email, etc. to new sales opportunities as a consultative professional.
