Position Title: Terrain Park Attendant Business Unit: Mountain Operations Position Reports to: Terrain Park Crew Lead, Terrain Park Supervisor Location: Crystal Mountain, Washington Wage Range: $20 - $23/hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Performs regular maintenance of terrain park features, boundary ropes, and signage during operating hours using snow rakes, shovels, and drills * Prepares terrain park to be opened each day by setting up signage and boundary ropes, clearing fresh snow, and shaping snow around each feature * Prepares terrain park for grooming at the end of each day by removing any obstacles to snow grooming equipment, and reshaping/rebuilding feature takeoffs * Maintains a positive guest experience for terrain park users. Acts as an ambassador to the public by setting good examples of terrain park etiquette on the mountain. * Keeps track of and maintains tools and equipment (rakes, shovels, drills, radios etc.) * Inspects and tests features in the terrain park to ensure all features are free of damage, and to determine when snow maintenance is required * Closes features as needed when conditions or other circumstances do not allow them to be ridden safely * Helps in spotting/reporting any injuries in the terrain park to ski patrol This job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations.
