Salesforce is seeking an innovative and experienced sales-minded Sr. Director to lead the growth and scaling of our innovative AI products. This role is instrumental in driving & accelerating product adoption and market leadership by deeply understanding customer needs and translating the voice of the customer into actionable insights for our product development teams. You will be responsible for the aligned market (EMEA, AMER, JAPAC), partnering closely with OU leaders to ensure Salesforce AI thrives across all regions.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will:

  • Champion the Customer: Be a steadfast advocate for our customers, engaging directly with them to understand their challenges, use cases, and desired outcomes with AI.

  • Build a Thriving Feedback Ecosystem: Cultivate strong relationships with key team members across OUs, Clouds, and Industries to create a robust and diverse network for gathering valuable product feedback.

  • Drive Product-Led Growth: Develop and implement strategies that leverage product usage data, customer insights, and "Agentic" technology to fuel organic growth and expansion.

  • Scale for Success: Design and implement scalable processes for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating customer feedback, ensuring a continuous and efficient feedback loop that informs product development and fuels innovation.

  • Empower with Knowledge: Equip internal teams with a deep understanding of Salesforce AI, its capabilities, and value proposition. Partner with PMM, Product Enablement, Sales Programs, and other GTM teams to develop impactful enablement programs and resources that champion product adoption and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the growth strategy for Salesforce AI across all regions, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision and company goals through compelling programs that educate internal teams and customers on the value and application of Salesforce AI.

  • Drive product adoption and usage by identifying key customer segments, understanding their needs, and tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements. Cultivate a culture of customer-centricity and data-driven decision-making within the AI product team.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Salesforce AI. Develop relationships with relevant Product Managers to ensure a good flow of product information to the field and back to PMs with voice of customer.

  • Collaborate closely with product management to ensure a seamless flow of information between the field and the product team, effectively channeling the voice of the customer to inform product roadmap decisions. Initiatives will involve leading cross-functional initiatives for example to address international needs for support, data residency, and language localization.

  • Champion the use of data and analytics to measure product performance, identify growth opportunities, and track progress towards key goals.

  • Evangelize Salesforce AI to customers, partners, and employees through presentations, thought leadership, and industry events. Engage with selected key customers, understand their problems and synthesize findings to inform product strategy and requirements

    • Present product and roadmap to customer executives in our world-class Salesforce Innovation Center

    • Drive Product Advisory Councils in key regions globally

    • Evangelize our roadmap with our customers, partners and employees

    • Leverage market analysis, competitive knowledge, and customer research to define communication, enablement, and messaging

    • Synthesize the needs across Industries to build common components that can act as multiplier across different Industries

  • Build a scalable approach to strategic customer meeting requests, both leading these meetings directly and building an approach to scale how we can bring the right talent to the right meetings.

  • Work closely and cross functionally with teams across the business, tying outcomes to V2MOM.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, specialist solution or sales, or a similar role with a consistent track record of driving product adoption and scaling successful products, across markets globally

  • Deep understanding of the AI landscape and its applications across various industries. Familiarity with "Agentic" technology and similar AI-powered tools

  • Experience working with and influencing senior-level executives.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment

  • Experience with Salesforce products and ecosystem & domain knowledge of customer engagement processes across clouds and/or industries

  • Passion for technology and a desire to make a significant impact on the future of AI

  • High energy and passion for the job and a thirst for leaning in all facets of the job; be it new technology, diving deep into industry concepts, new ways of working or the suite of salesforce products

  • Leadership DNA, proven ability to excite, motivate, and self-direct. Experience in working in fast-paced startup environments

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles

  • Ability to lead with Salesforce values and culture

  • Execute with grace under pressure and sense of humor and camaraderie

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that span across various cultures and professional backgrounds

  • Exceptional leadership capabilities. Proven ability to grow, develop, and retain top technical talent

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $223,000 to $372,900. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
