The Opportunity: The Region Sales Director will have the opportunity to lead a team and sell Avantor's large portfolio of products and services to a diverse set of current and prospective clients in PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA . The Region Sales Director will provide ongoing leadership, coaching, development, support, and direction to the Region's 8 to 10 Sales Representatives; ensure effective territory management and achievement of assigned sales, profit, and expense goals. The Region Sales Director will manage a multi-dollar region and with responsibility for creating and implementing successful strategies to further penetrate and segment the market, consisting mainly of large, integrated, and global clients. This diverse territory includes Higher Education customers. What we're looking for:

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis. Minimal physical effort is required.
